Black and White Illustrations

Inktober is an annual challenge for artists to create a drawing each day in October based on daily prompts. Initially, I only managed 3 or 4 drawings due to the time it took to create my abstract digital art, and I felt some prompts didn't fit my style. However, in 2023, I committed to producing a drawing daily, resulting in some great outcomes, but at what cost? I felt burned out, and didn't make any art for close to 2 months after. I then took it a little less seriously and tried to spend a max of 2 hours per drawing, and just have fun with it, which was much more successful. From these Inktober prompts, I have started little series that have expanded from the original drawings. My most popular are the UFO and Saddled Dinosaur series. I no longer participate in Inktober, but I do continue to draw black and white illustrations that make me chuckle.
